Poster Set

This set contains two A1 full-colour, laminated posters.  One illustrates the sounds of English and the most common ways they can be written. The other illustrates the most common vowel spelling patterns and the different ways they can be pronounced.   Both posters are useful for teaching students to recognise  sounds and syllables in words.

English Spelling Dictionary

This A5 spiro-bound dictionary provides students and teachers with a variety of word lists for the development of vocabulary and sight-word spelling skills. It contains the 300 most common high-frequency words, common academic words and useful words for writing, with spaces for students to record their own definitions. In the back are reference pages for root words, prefixes and suffixes, strategies for syllabifying words and a summary of useful spelling rules and conventions.  There are also mini versions of the two wall posters and copies of the editing guides used for teaching proofreading skills.
